Florence Utility Department Accepts                             Credit/Debit Card Payments

Another way to pay your Utility Bill is by Credit/Debit Card.  Your payments can be processed by SpeedPay, Inc., a company used by other utilities including Duke Power and Huntsville Utilities. SpeedPay allows payment by phone or internet, 24-hours a day, 365 days of the year, using Visa, MasterCard, or Discover.

To pay your bill through SpeedPay you can use your checking account or credit card online or call the toll free number at (866) 678-8869.  There is a 2.8% fee for using SpeedPay.

The 2.8% convenience fee charged if a customer chooses this option is small in comparison to cash advance fees or reconnect charges. Many customers earn bonus points when they use their credit cards, and many have asked the Utility Department for this payment option. It's just one more way we offer convenient service for our customers!
